Sometimes I don't want to talk, I don't want anyone to listen, I don't want a hug, I don't want a "it will be alright" or "just pray about it" word of encouragement. It all comes from a good place but sometimes, I just want to let my words become my oxygen. For those who are in a delicate place where you just need some time and space to figure things out without exerting energy by over explaining where you are, where you are not, how you are feeling, what you are thinking, "what's going on?"....for those who are spiritually congested, still trying to hang on the Truth you know, but you just need your words to pour out of you because sometimes it's all you have to vent.
The pen and paper or in this case, the keys on the keyboard can help you to express even the depths of yourself that you can't reach through talking to someone. The words just flow out like water from a faucet. There is a source and they are meant to go far, possibly reaching someone out there who feels like they need to say everything when all they have to do is just pick up a book and use that pen.
May it be lyrics, may it be poetry, may it be whatever you need it to be. Let it be constructive but let it be uniquely yours and 100% genuine. It's how you may need to cope right now so don't hold back. Let your words become your masterpiece, a priceless art that belongs only to you.
